Are you interested in Kayla Itsines' Sweat With Kayla app but unsure if it'll work for you? Don’t look anywhere else for Kayla Itsines App review, because we have everything about it covered!

Let me be honest. I think everyone who develops a skill or a product should make the most they can from it. It’s what makes our system work so well.
What I don’t like is when someone takes advantage of their customers, especially when it’s someone I respect. That is why I was unhappy after spending about $50 for the new fitness app released by a fitness professional who I really respect, Kayla Itsines.
I still have tremendous respect for Kayla’s knowledge and skills, and I don’t regret for a minute having spent the money she charges for her fitness program eBook, or the BBG as it’s commonly known. It helped me lose a lot of weight, the workouts were fun and my body looks better than ever. If you have not read it, I suggest you to read my review on Kayla's Bikini Body Guide.
Her latest fitness app, though? Not so much. Keep reading my Sweat With Kayla review and I’ll tell you why you should stick with her original BBG workout ebooks (Sweat With Kayla pdf) and forget the app.
If you’re into fitness or have been looking for help losing weight, you’ve probably come across Kayla. It seems that she’s everywhere online, because that’s where she became a “celebrity.”.
If you don’t know her, here’s the background. She’s a fitness trainer who saw what worked and what didn’t, tried different methods with her clients, and came up with her Bikini Body Guide.
When it hit the Internet it became a sensation and she became famous. Not “Kim Kardashian famous,” though. Her fame was legitimate because she really did something important: develop a workout and diet program that helped women lose weight, build muscle and reshape their bodies.
The BBG has sold millions of copies (one of them to me) and ladies love it (including me). Why? Because her twelve week bikini body workout program includes both strength and cardio exercises and you only have to spend half an hour a day to see great results. It isn’t like all of those scams that say “just do this and you’ll lose 10 pounds a week!” (Or whatever they claim.)
The Bikini Body Guide ebooks, also known as Sweat With Kayla PDF is meant to do what it says, give you the tools you need to change your body so you’re not ashamed to go out to the beach, the gym, or wherever else you want to look good.
Once the BBG 1.0 was a hit, she came out with the BBG 2.0 which takes you to the next level over another twelve weeks. I bought it, of course, and it was great.
There’s also a great nutrition guide called HELP (Healthy Eating and Lifestyle Plan) which teaches you the right way to eat to keep the pounds off and the bikini body going strong. I bought that and loved it, too. (Yep, I’m a fan girl, or at least I was until I paid for the Kayla Itsines App. Now, I’m just a fan.)
At this point I probably don’t have to tell you what I did as soon as I saw that there was a Sweat With Kayla app. I didn’t just buy the one month membership, I signed up right away for the more expensive three month membership which cost $54.99.
It was a big mistake. (Although I do get to warn other people in my Sweat With Kayla review, so I guess there’s a bright side.) Let me tell you about what you get, and then I’ll get to why it’s not worth spending your money to subscribe to the app.
The app looks pretty and works well on iPhones and Androids, it’s available in a bunch of different languages (like French, Italian, German, Spanish and Chinese, plus English of course) and it’s easy to download from her website, the App Store or Google Play. It includes the BBG 1.0, BBG 2.0 and BBG 3.0, and the HELP nutrition guide (there are two versions, a regular one and one for vegetarians) is in there too.
The way it’s set up is that you get your new workout and new recipes every day on your phone (They are the same workout and recipes from the original BBG ebooks though). Already using the BBG and want to switch to the app? No prob, you can tell the app where you are in the workout plan and it will start in the right place to let you keep going without having to start over. You can take it anywhere and do your fitness workouts anytime. Convenient, right?
Yep, it’s definitely convenient. But there’s a catch that people who write glowing reviews probably don’t realize, because they probably have never even tried the BBG.
I’ll get to the catch in a minute, but you’re probably wondering about the Sweat With Kayla cost. It’s $19.99 per month for a recurring subscription, or $54.99 for a three month recurring subscription (that’s a $5 savings for the longer membership). There are “extras” included but they’re not really important, stuff like “friendly challenges” and “personal achievements” you can earn. The real guts of the app is the workout program and diet info.
“Before I explain the big problems with app, I’ll tell you a secret. Most of the great stuff that’s written about the app is written by people who haven’t gone through the original BBG or the BBG 2.0 ebooks."
They’ve only tried the app, so they wouldn't know why Kayla Itsines original Bikini Body Guide ebook is a better choice than her latest app.
That’s why they don’t realize…that there’s nothing new in the app!
You read that right. “Sweat With Kayla” is nothing more than Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide and the HELP nutrition ebooks put into a convenient app. You pay $19.99 a month (or $54.99 for three months) to get the exact same exercise programs, meal guides and recipes that are in the BBG and HELP DIET ebooks that cost only $39.97 (one-time payment) with Kayla's discount link here.
There are no unique or new Sweat With Kayla workouts. They’re the same BBG workouts from her ebook, just displayed in a different way.
For those of us paid a lot of money to buy the Bikini Body Guide, subscribing to the app is basically buying the same information twice.
“But wait!” you’re probably saying. “If I never bought the BBG before, and it really works, what’s so bad about paying to get it on my phone instead of in a downloadable ebook?”
Yes, it works. And there’s nothing wrong with convenience. But there are catches.
First of all, Kayla says on her website that you can try the app for free for seven days. But she charges your card immediately, and it can be a pain to try to get that charge refunded if you decide you don’t like the app. Don't believe it? Then you should read this, this and this.
Next, if you just want the BBG the ebook version costs only $69.97, and the combination of the ebook and HELP guide costs $119.97 which is about what you’d pay for six months of subscribing to the app. The BBG 2.0 costs another $69.97. At first, the app sounds like a pretty good deal.
“But…here’s another thing. There is a Kayla Itsines Discount Link that let you buy the complete BBG, BBG 2.0 and HELP nutrition guide combined for just $39.99. "
In other words, you can get all of Kayla’s information and all of her workout programs for less than you’d pay for a two-month subscription to the app.
Don’t believe me? Here’s a link to one of them here - www.bbg-discount.com. By comparison, there’s no Sweat With Kayla promo code. You always have to pay full price.
It gets worse. As soon as you cancel your app subscription – poof! Everything’s gone. No more workout programs, no more recipes or nutrition guide. You have nothing left to show for all the money you spent. (And there’s no Sweat With Kayla PDF that you can download while you’re a member.)
On the other hand, once you have the ebook version of the BBG, BBG 2.0 and the HELP guide, they’re yours forever. Print them out and they’re almost as easy to carry around as the app on your smartphone. They don’t disappear when you stop paying $19.99 a month. They’re yours forever.
One other thing I haven’t mentioned yet is that there aren’t any instructional videos or other interactive material on the app, like I figured there would be.
After all, if you’re putting the printed BBG into an app that’s perfect for showing videos, motivational messages or a ton of other video or audio, why wouldn’t you include it for extra value? Only Kayla knows the answer to that question, but it doesn’t make sense to me.
If you’ve been paying attention (I’m sure you have, since you’re still reading), you know there’s one more thing I haven’t mentioned: the BBG 3.0 in the app that I was so excited to get my hands on.
Once I saw it, I wasn’t excited anymore.
I wouldn’t call it a scam, but I would call the BBG 3.0 a little sketchy because it has just about all of the same exercises as the BBG and BBG 2.0, and the same recipes as in the HELP guide, just in a different order.
There’s no extra challenge, no new information, just a recycled program I could have put together myself. And of course, once I cancelled my membership the BBG 3.0 was gone too.
“Was I disappointed? Hell yes, I am disappointed."
I think that’s a fair way to sum up this Sweat With Kayla app review.
If you’ve already bought the BBG, BBG 2.0 and HELP diet ebooks, I don’t think it’s worth a second look. You already own everything that’s on the app.
If you’re new to the Bikini Body Guide, you’re one of those people who absolutely lives on their phone, you can’t imagine doing anything that’s written in a PDF eBook (or on paper, if you’ve printed out the guides), and you have lots of extra money to spend, then yes, the app could be valuable to you.
However, the Bikini Body Guide ebooks package will absolutely help you lose weight, change your eating habits for the better and build the bikini body you thought was gone forever. And since the app has the exact same information as the BBG, you should expect to get the same Sweat With Kayla results.
For everyone else: why would you pay $19.99 a month to “rent” the Sweat With Kayla App when you can use Kayla's discount link - www.bbg-discount.com to pay only $39.99 and own it forever?
I know I talk a lot and I’ve put a lot of information into my review, so I’ll finish with a summary of the pros and cons of the Kayla Itsines App vs. BBG downloadable PDF ebooks.
To me, the pros and cons tell the story. The BBG ebooks is a much better value than the app. I just wish I knew that before I subscribed to the app for three months.
So if you are new to Kayla and will like to try her Bikini Body Guide workout program, I highly recommend you to purchase her BBG ebooks instead with her 80% discount link - www.bbg-discount.com.
